Giant Cackling Fruit Bats!

But you won’t see any here. Unfortunately I brought my cheap camera and not my good one, otherwise I would have photographic evidence (but the delightful Miss Janet got to hear them on the telephone the other day). In fact, I don’t have many photographs at all.
Tomorrow, I am going to the Balogun Market. Then I’ll have some pix for you.
But for now, here’s the boats we take to work (and some deliciously swirling substance in the water)

You can’t see it here, but the TV is showing last night’s U-17 World Cup game, which was played here in Lagos. Nigeria beat Spain 3-1, so I will have a good time watching the championship game with the locals on Sunday, when the Golden Eagles whip up on the Nazi-Sympathizing-Jewish-Gold-Liquidating-Scumbag Swiss.
I’ll take lots of pictures tomorrow.
